Tegalalang Rice Terrace

We caught our first glimpse of the rice paddies as we drove past Jl. Raya Tegallalang road on our way to Sebatu, a small village just a few minutes north of Tegalalang, where we were going to be staying for a few days.

It's always busy in Tegalalang, souvenir stands, cafe's and restaurants stretch the length of the rice terraces on both sides of the road. The views from there are stunning, but venture away from the main road a little deeper into the jungle and you'll find out why this place is so magical. Sprawling rice terraces and coconut trees fill the steep valley cliffs that will leave you speechless.
